Robert Oakden is listed as a farmer in the 1911 census (aged 67), living with his wife Lucy (aged 65) and various members of his family working on the farm; his brother Joseph was 64, his son Joseph, aged 27 and daughter Alice Mary, aged 35. Alice Mary Oakden (Plot 303) was listed as a dairy worker. In the 1939 census, she is listed a small poultry farmer living at the Bungalow (which is believed to have been a wooden building on Fradley Lane). She died in 1966 at the age of 90. Joe Joseph Oakden (Plot 349) in the 1939 census, is listed as a dairy farmer living on The Green. He was known for his Long Horn Cattle and lived at Agric House for a time. In later life, it is believed he moved to the Bungalow. He died in 1979 at the age of 96.
